CareNow Nashville partnered with TriStar Southern Hills to sponsor the Nashville Zoo’s 5th Annual Teddy Bear Clinic during the last weekend in February. This neat event allowed children to bring their stuffed animals to the Nashville Zoo to receive check-ups from the Zoo’s veterinary staff.

This year’s Teddy Bear Clinic set record attendance highs bringing in 2,500 visitors and 600 “patients” to the HCA Healthcare Veterinary Center. Kids checked in their animals and then were able to participate in crafts, games, a photo booth and animal encounters while they waited to for their animals to receive care.

Once they were called back, the parents and children were given a tour of the clinic and had their animals treated in real exam rooms. The clinic saw stuffed lions, tigers and teddy bears presenting with everything from stomach aches to tail injuries, and some even got stitched up.

At the end of the check-up, the stuffed animals were presented with a certificate of “Beary Good Health”. We loved participating in this event with TriStar Southern Hills for the second year!

Much like the Teddy Bear Clinic helped the stuffed animals, CareNow is here to help your family when they experience an injury or illness.

We are open seven days a week with extended hours for when you need care outside of 9-5, and we offer free accommodations such as WiFi, a coffee bar and children's play areas.
