About Mark James Montano

Dr. Montano has served in medical director and assistant medical director positions at Denver-area urgent care and occupational medicine clinics for more than 15 years. Before medical school, he worked for 6 years as a paramedic in a 911 emergency system in Denver. He joined CareNow® in 2016.

Dr. Montano received his medical degree from the University of Colorado Denver, and he has a BA in psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder. He has served in a variety of volunteer roles, including working as Medical Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and serving on the Homicide Cold Case Review Team for the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
