If you have young children, you already know about the usual choking hazards around your home. Monitor your child around new toys, decorations, holiday lighting and scraps of wrapping paper. It will prevent anything from ruining their holiday.
Drink water between eggnogs
This isn’t the case for all families, but the holidays are notorious for leading to bad decisions after drinking alcohol. If you are going to drink, be responsible. Drink plenty of water between alcoholic beverages. NEVER DRIVE AFTER CONSUMING ALCOHOL.
Find your happy place
Are some of your best memories from this time of the year? Being around family is wonderful. Find your happy place this holiday. Try not to stress too much and bask in the holiday joy. It’ll make the holidays that more enjoyable.
Having family around can be stressful. It’s important that you take some time and unwind once everyone has left your home. It’s okay to be lazy for a little bit.
