St. David's CareNow Urgent Care's Georgetown clinic celebrated its one year anniversary on November 19th, 2020! The Georgetown clinic is the 14th CareNow urgent care location in the Austin market at 1205 S IH 35, Georgetown, TX. The marketing and occupational medicine team organized a small celebration to recognize the clinic staff for their achievements and efforts in serving their community.
Through the current pandemic, the physicians and staff have risen to meet the challenge of providing exemplary service and convenient care while implementing enhanced safety precautions throughout the facility.
These safety measures include:
- Screening patients and visitors for COVID-19 symptoms and risk factors upon arrival to the clinic.
- Limiting patients to one essential visitor/companion to limit the overall traffic in the clinic.
- Practicing social distancing by providing extra space between seats in patient waiting areas and creating separate entrances.
- Universal masking procedures for all staff, patients, and companions regardless of symptoms or exposure.
- Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing all patient waiting rooms, exam rooms, and other care areas according to the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
In addition to these enhanced safety precautions, our clinics are providing patients more ways than ever to safely get the care they need.
Ways for patients to receive care include:
- Utilizing our Web Check-In® feature to space out arrival times to promote additional social distancing.
- Providing telehealth services to enable patients to connect quickly and conveniently with a provider from anywhere.
- Accessing patient urgent care health information, such as lab results and clinical records, through MyHealthONE.
