MedSpring urgent care clinics in Texas will become CareNow Urgent Care clinics October 1st, 2019.
As of July 1st, 2019, MedSpring Urgent Care centers in Texas are owned and operated by CareNow Urgent Care. These clinics in Austin, Houston and Dallas Fort-Worth will be transitioned to CareNow Urgent Care in the fall. Here are answers to questions you may have about the change.
Are all the previous MedSpring locations staying open? With the exception of the Cedar Park location in Austin, all other Texas locations will remain open. We welcome patients at the CareNow location across the street at 5001 183A Suite R100, Cedar Park, TX 78613 next to Starbucks in the Parke shopping center
Are you changing your hours? Not at this time. We're still open seven days a week, 8am to 8pm.
Are the medical providers and other staff the same? Yes.
Do you still have my patient records from past visits? Yes. If you have been seen at a MedSpring clinic, CareNow® providers will be able to access your medical history.

Can you send my primary care physician information about my clinic visits? Yes.
Are your services changing? We offer the same urgent care services for minor injuries and illness as well as occupational medicine services for businesses - from employment screenings to treatment of on-the-job injuries. However, we will no longer be offering concussion services in our Dallas clinics.
Do you still take my insurance? We accept most major insurances but our plans can change, please check the MedSpring website for the most updated list or call your clinic directly.
Can I still check-in online? Yes. You can continue to check-in online at our clinics so you can wait from home or work - not in our waiting room.
After October 1st, we will transition to Web Check-In® to save your spot in line or let us know when you're coming and we'll call you when we're ready.
Can I just walk in? Of course. Walk-ins are always welcome.
Where to go to pay my bill? If you have been seen at a Texas MedSpring clinic after July 1st 2019, please go to CareNow.com/BillPay to access online payment.
