Flu Diagnosis

Every winter, between 10 and 20 percent of the population contracts influenza (flu), a highly contagious viral infection of the nose, throat and lungs. Unfortunately, thousands of people die each year from the flu or flu-related complications. CareNow® offers flu vaccines as well as quick flu tests, which allows for early detection of the influenza virus.

CareNow® Flu Services

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), much of the illness and death caused by the flu can be prevented with a yearly flu shot. People who are in high-risk groups and people who are in close contact with those at high risk should get a flu shot every year. Each year, CareNow® provides flu shots with no appointment necessary at any one of our 27 locations. We have a fast track system, designed to minimize your wait time. CareNow® offers quick flu tests, which can accurately detect the influenza virus in less than 10 minutes.
